Way to Fitness
A trip to the
all it takes for
a fun, full-body
A BEAUTIFUL DAY,
nice to get outside, and if used to
indoor air, a different environment
for your lungs that makes you work
says Lacey Stone, a Los
Angeles-based trainer whose clients
have included Amanda Seyfried, Nicole
Kidman and Jodie Foster. For variety, a
playground can serve as a fun obstacle
course and your own personal miniboot camp.
This, says Stone, is one way to use it:
Swings: Do swings, jump off and run
to the monkey bars.
Monkey bars: Pull yourself up and
across, from bar to bar. If not
strong enough, lift yourself up, drop,
rest and repeat until you get to the
Push-ups: Do as many as you can.
Slide: Climb up the stairs and slide
Lunge jumps: Jump into a lunge with
your right foot in front, then jump and
switch feet, repeating 10 times.
Varying your activity will enhance
your results. And, adds Stone,
bored, this will get you more excited
Repeat the sequence for a total of
circuits, resting in between if needed.
